#517 Seen and Unseen

International Day of People with Disability was on the 3rd of December, so this week we wanted to bring stories centred around experiences of people with disability. People’s lack of knowledge about disability and society’s overall lack of accessibility are both elements that contribute to this experience, something we should be aware of when supporting disability justice.

We begin with words from All The Best Host Danni Stewart, on her experience as an autistic person and the way she relates to the world.

Under the Surface

For our first story we have a conversation between All The Best Production Manager Phoebe and her friend Sam Brewer where they discuss stories from his life as a person with vision impairment, from assumptions made by other people to the ‘seen’/’unseen’ disability binary.
