All the Best hosts free monthly workshops and meet-ups for the audio community to connect, up-skill and develop story ideas. We offer events on the ground with the Sydney-based team, and online for all to join.

All are welcome! Producers, presenters, performers, poets, comedians, composers, designers, journalists, writers, well-seasoned audio makers, first-timers and keen listeners – this is a safe and welcoming community for all storytellers and makers.

Learn Audio Storytelling This Summer

FBi Radio’s national Storytelling podcast All The Best will run narrative audio workshops for young people living in the Bega Valley in January next year.

The free workshops are open to people aged from 12 to 24, who have an interest in learning about storytelling through sound, for radio and podcast. They will be held at the Bega Library on the 18th-19th and 22nd-23rd of January 2024.

All The Best producers will cover how to get ideas for stories, script writing for audio, researching and conducting interviews, media ethics, recording and editing technology and sound design. The workshops will be highly interactive and activity based, with the intended outcome to have participants produce a short audio story by the end of the four sessions.

These workshops will be run in cooperation with the Bega Valley Shire Council and supported by a Create NSW grant.
