In many cultures around the world, water is considered sacred.
In this episode, we see bodies of water as conduits for memory, history and, of course, stories.
Pitjantjatjara and Gurindji man talkin’ stories by the river
Think of the anatomy of a river. Our first story is the upper course. Caleb and Orlando reflect on history, their own lives and their families while sitting by a river on Gurindji land.

Our final story is the lower course. It’s where everything slows down. Campbell recreates what life was like along the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River).
